The Headquarters Base

The Headquarters Base is a state-of-the-art military command post which defends a civilian underground city nestled in the island's mountains. Entering the atrium, to the left the civilian medbay can be found. Directly ahead, past a security desk, the civilian Communications Center and Elevators, aswell as the door to the second floor armory. On the right lies the bar and restaurant known as The Commissary. Past the commissary rests the Civilian Information Center, where copies of this guide may be picked up, aswell as the simulators and conference rooms. To the right of that the gym, pool, solarium, and recreational facilities may be found. Left of The Commissary is the quad and the over-flow seating. Past the medbay lies the helipad and cybernetics labs.

The Atrium contains a large planter, the home to both a weeping willow, it's branches sagging as though depressed themselves, and an olive tree. Next to the planter is a statue of an onion, unfolding so to speak, to show it's layers of 'leaves', each with a name, more added with new arrivals. A bench nearby on which to sit and relax, perhaps to contemplate.

The parking lot contains a statue comprised of a stone that could easily be mistaken for marble. An 'angel' with an immense wingspan spread outward, wearing a long robe, shaking hands with General Asha Murphy. The plaque carved into the stone is written in an unreadable form of runic symbol. but it isn't hard to tell its a message of peace and everlasting friendship.

A statue of a faceless HQ soldier stands 30 foot tall on the top of the hill behind the HQ, one hand extended welcomingly in peace, a 50 cal pistol in the other hand prepared to fire, the plaque at the base reads: Come in Peace, or Go in War, This we'll Defend.

We've been asked to warn you that all conversations and actions on the HQ base can be, and are monitored for security reasons. This means that private conversations are essentially NOT private, no matter how quiet you may speak in The Commissary. We've also been asked to inform you that Seraph has access to these systems.
