The Arella Clans

The Arella race is divided into seven sects, or clans. Only five of these clans came to earth. What separates these clans are both a tattoo placed somewhere on the body (usually the back of the neck), aswell as the differences in natural abilities.

     
 
The Aratro
Lead By: Adnachiel (XII)
Mythical Origin: The Arella Adnachiel (I) rose to power over the lands in the region of Aratron, this region contains 28 provinces, Adnachiel(I) claimed that all his lands would be given perfect health for as long as he reigned (600 years) This promise has held true as long as his lineage has been in power (6-7000 years.) Adnachiel(I) was granted the seal of Aratron for keeping his lands rich with minerals.

The Bethor
Lead By: Phul (VII)
Mythical Origin: The Arella Phul (I) gained control over the kingdom of Bethor which contains 7 provinces. Phul (I) was called the "Lord of the powers of the moon and supreme Lord of the waters", primarily because Bethor is predominantly a water land.
Phul (I) was reputed to have great powers over spirits of the dead, the Arella which served under his rule were granted such powers. He gained the seal of Bethor through the seal of Bethor was given to Phul (I) for his work in sanctifying the spirits of the dead, and bringing justice to murderers.

The Phaleg
Lead By: Achaiah (IX)
Mythical Origin: The Arella Achaiah (I) gained control over a single province called Aha, which
was marked by its lakes of molten rock and lands of fire. Achaiah (I) was looked down upon by all the other Seal Bearers for taking the land who's former ruler was banished for leading the first Great War. He was said to have been driven to madness by attacks upon his honor, and was one of the two who began the Great War again. He is also said to have had hand in bringing the fourth Seal Bearer back.
He was given powers of fire and regrowth, though the powers of regrowth were lost before they could be passed on to his people, when he went mad. He was given the seal of Phaleg, the Warlord, for obvious reasons.

The Och
Leady By: Unknown, called "The Great Serpent"
Mythical Origin: This Arella took control over 9 previously unclaimed provinces, he was the former ruler of the land which Achaiah (I, holder of the Phaleg seal) claimed. Said to have been brought back to the Arella home world by Achaiah to wage war on the other Seal Bearers. He disguised himself as a trusted Arella and manipulated the council of Seal Bearers into giving him the fourth seal. Seal of Och the great alchemist, physician, and mystic. He is suspected of coaxing the third Seal Bearer into beginning the Great War once again. The powers he gained allowed him to change his own physical form in color, size, and shape; aswell as the ability to syphon the power from other Arella for his own use. These powers carried down to his children.

The Hagith
Lead By: Amatiel (XVIII)
Radueriel Nemamiah (I)
Mythical Origin:  The Arella Amatiel gained dominion over 32 provinces in the region called "Spring"
she saw the pointlessness in joining in the fighting of the other Seal Bearers, and declared her lands peaceful. Spring was the third land consumed by the Phaleg, and Amatiel's lead general Radueriel gathered a group of the remaining peaceful rebellion, bringing them to earth. Their leader remained behind to see that any others who were found, or who survived, could be sent to earth for safety. Amatiel was called "The planter of the seeds of hope" because of her ability to inspire her people to look on the bright side of things, and because even surrounded in war, and as a battlefield, her lands still remain lush and green. She was given the seal of Hagith, and the ability to restore life to the withering, and strength to the weary.

The Ophiel
Lead By: Sandalphon (VI)
Mythical Origin:  The Sarim Sandalphon, elect brother of Metatron (Voice of The One, the Arella religious leader) took dominion over 9 provinces. Formerly called the prophet Elias, he rallied his people and declared their greatest enemy as The Great Serpent, he was given the power to summon legions of spirits with which to wage war upon the Och.

The Kerub
Lead By: Shermuil (XXVI)
Mythical Origin: The Arella Shermuil claimed control over ten provinces and declared no fighting would ever occur there, and no true arella would fight there under threat that they would be defying the will of The One.
The seal of Kerub was given to Shermuil and his people , for they kept peace in his lands. Amatiel was given safe harbor for her and her remaining followers, that they may continue to send their people away from the arella home world to earth. The Kerub Clan have constructed large walls of earth around their land, so high that even the strongest Arella couldn't overcome it.
