The Arella believe in one god, as a whole. However, this god is not at all one sided as most earth religions believe. They refer to this god as "The One", and while most commonly they speak of it in good terms, it is neither good nor bad. The One is a concept of Absolute Reality, a being not in control of everything, but a part of everything. When questioned about The One, one of the religious leaders of the Arella had this to say:

"Absolute truth is indestructible. Being indestructible, it is eternal. Being eternal, it is self existent. Being self-existent, it is infinite. Being infinite, it is vast and deep. Being vast and deep, it is transcendental and intelligent. It is because it is vast and deep that it contains all existence. It is because it is transcendental and intelligent that it embraces all existence. It is because it is infinite and eternal that it fulfils or perfects all existence. In vastness and depth it is like the Earth. In transcendental intelligence it is like Heaven. Infinite and eternal, it is the Infinite itself."

Ironically, the quote he spoke of was a part of Confucianism; Doctrine of the Mean 26, to be exact. This hints that their beliefs may have once been filtered down into present day religions from an earlier visit to humanity.
