The Assassins

Due to the deaths of two of our field researchers The Pocket Guide to Headquarters Island Editor Committee has decided to review its decision to post this entry to The Pocket Guide. Until we come to a time where we feel it would be safe to place information about this organization into our book, we will be withholding all information. We do not wish to offend any of our readers and apologize profusely for this blatant let down on our parts. We assure you that we will try harder.

The Assassin's Code

We were informed that the following information could be placed in our guide, in the hopes it may remove a few common misconceptions about the Assassins.

Assassins Guild Code

  1. No innocent shall be injured in the process of completing your mission.
  2. Take your target alone, without witnesses, if possible.
  3. Unless specified otherwise by a guild approved contract, kills will be clean, and neat.
  4. Contracts will not be taken from outside guild channels
  5. "Independent" Assassins are to be either brought into the Guild, or destroyed.
  6. Discipline within the Guild shall be at the sole discretion of the Council.
  7. Assistance to another Assassin will be rendered upon request, unless it violates a contract in progress
  8. Anything not covered by these directives will be presented to the Council for review. The decision of the Council is final, with no appeal.
  9. Violation of these policies will result in removal from the Guild.
